Holly Glen subdivision in Holly Springs, North Carolina has one of the best resedents' amenity centers in town. If you take a drive down Avent Ferry Road west off of Hwy 55, you can't miss the club house, pool and a brand new kiddie pool with a huge winding yellow slide, brand new play equipment, pond, tennis courts, and play field; this is one of the huge draws to the subdivision. There are two types of housing in Holly Glen: townhomes and detached single family homes. Construction in Holly Glen began back in 1995 when the town of Holly Springs was just an infant. But new construction in the neighborhood continues today by builders such as Garmen Homes, Old South Homes, and Beazer Homes. You can purchase a townhome in the mid $100k range and the detached homes sell in the low $200s to mid $300s.
The older side of the neighborhood has established trees and lots ranging from .25 acres to over .5 acres. The newer section was clear cut, so the trees are not quite established yet and the lot sizes are closer to .25 acres.
Holly Glen Subdivision is lined with sidewalks and also has walking trails; it backs to several hundred acres of raw land that is owned by Progress Energy. It's great community for walking dogs and exercise
The elementary school, middle school, and high school are within walking distance to the community. Also, Southpark shopping center with a new Harris Teeter grocery store, restaurants, Wal Mart, etc. is only minutes away.
Directions to Holly Glen: Take hwy 55 south bypass through Holly Springs, Right on Avent Ferry, and right into the neighborhood. If you pass Braxton Village Subdivision, you have gone too far.
